Forum Title: Texas scams must be growing right now
I seen we had a thread for the issue before but with the hurricane hitting a large chunk of the state, I could only imagine. Anyone in Texas? Has work been at a standstill or you been busy going and going?

Yup, this is unfortunate. It will likely be happening in Florida as well. I just continue to warn people and tell anyone if they spot a scam to report it ASAP.The quicker we shut the creeps down, the less people will get scammed and have their lives turned upside down.

I contacted everyone I knew in Florida and made sure they only worked with people they have in the past. It sucks for new businesses but it just isn't worth the risk right now.

I was actually down in Florida for a weekend helping some family board up their house. They came back with me. Not many people seemed to care too much when I was there. It was almost weird. But yeah, I do feel for those people and have made legit donations. I had water and such sent there. The roofing and reconstruction scams are all over online.
